Hi I have got the web part installed but it seems very unreliable. Sometimes a thumbnail will display next to the result link, sometimes it won't. It also seems to only display a single thumbnail for powerpoint docs even if there are several powerpoint search results (only one displays the thumbnail). Do you have any suggestions?? Thanks, Neil

Hi I have added the web part to my results page however does it matter which zone I add it to? I added it to the zone above the core results and I get no previews at all. I get search results and have office web apps installed but this does not work any help please?

Hello,

I have generated the thumbnail for word documents using MobileGeneriHandler.ashx.

The code works perfectly for .docx files, but for .doc files image generated is not readable.

j'ai installer le WSP. ca semble s'etre bien passé mais le soucis est que il semble mal fonctionné :

je vois comme une infobulle qui affiche "undefined" sur certains document word ou une croix rouge avec le texte "URL Preview"

mais pas de vignette.

I install it but even if I wait few secondes, I can't see the preview.

It show me an small popup with write inside "undefined" or "red cross and the text URL preview"

Did you add the web part to the library or results page you are testing with? Also note in the current release build there is no loading progress and it does take a second for the document preview to generate. So if you wait a second then hover over again it will display (this is fixed in current build on source code tab).

I have configured Thumbnail extender.Everything works fine but I get following error

en fait vous devez rajouter la webpart en fonction du context, c'est dans ces webparts que se trouve le code client qui est utilisé pour afficher les thumbnails

il y en a une pour les document library, une pour le search et une pour une page wiki.

Bonjour, j'ai downloadé le WSP, je l'ai ajouté avec la commande 'stsadm -o adsolution -filename...', je l'ai ensuite déployé sans soucis via la console d'administration. La solution est bien déployée sur l'ensemble de la ferme. J'ai aussi activé la feature au niveau de la collection de sites. Mais.... ça n'a rien changé dans le comportement de mes sites SP. Je n'ai pas de thumbnails. Y a-t-il qq chose d'autre à faire?

Je travaille sur un SPS 2010 Enterprise, Silverlight et les Office Webapps sont bien installées.
